There's been a void in the studio. It's part of the rhythm of creating. A series of paintings are developed and nurtured. They're pondered and worked on, worked on and pondered till complete. Then, off they go to be photographed, framed, and displayed, and the cycle begins again. Only I'm not very good at diving straight back in. A bit of regrouping needs to happen.
A Whisp of Mint and Memories: Unveiling My New Collection
My current muse? A chocolate peppermint plant on my kitchen windowsill. Its sweet scent, reminiscent of After Eight Mints, has sparked a new collection of paintings – the Mint Collection – a deeply personal exploration of sentimental objects and the stories they hold. The first paintings in the collection launch this month and are an invitation into my world, a glimpse into the significance of everyday items, and a celebration of memories.
